WHAT GOD REALLY WANTS
People have always needed to know what God wants from them. It’s true that He has revealed what He wants … and expects. But people have attempted life on their own terms, and what God wants of them gets “lost” in the darkness of human wisdom and striving. Then comes another reminder (sometimes in a deafening or dreadful way) of what God wants of us.
He wants our attention.
He wants our love
He wants our obedience
He wants your life
He wants your company
The purpose in these thoughts is simple. And the thoughts are simple enough for all of us to understand. What I really hope, though, is that we will grasp these thoughts as ours … and act on them.
I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
