Lead by Serving!
Many people would agree that Jesus Christ was the most influential man who ever lived. No one has or ever will have the impact He had.
What made Jesus all the more remarkable is He wasn’t autocratic, He didn’t lead by running over people, or demanding respect or obedience.
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45 NKJV)
After Jesus had washed the disciples feet He said…. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. (John 13:15 NIV).
Whose feet should you wash today? What opportunities do you have right now to serve rather than be served? Are you a leader? And if so how are you serving your people?
Lead by Serving!
A servant leader will always go further than a leader who is a leader by name or appointment or who runs roughshod over their people, try each day to be just a little more like Jesus and see what changes and blessings come your way. Remember He is the King of kings and chose to live as a humble servant, let’s follow in His footsteps. Lead by Serving!
I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
