Giving your all
When you serve, sometimes we can fall into the mindset that because we are doing it for free, or because people are ungrateful for our sacrifice, it’s ok to do less than our best. We may want to think it’s ok to cut corners.
But as we all know a good servant gives his all.
A good example is when Paul told the Christian leaders in Ephesus, Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears. (Acts 20:31 NKJV).
He sacrificed himself without ceasing, to the point of tears.
Do you view your opportunities to serve as a stewardship from God?
When you do, you will find yourself motivated to serve with excellence.
I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
