Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Changing your mind
The best way to change your life is to change your thinking. And the best way to change your thinking is to change your mental diet. What does a healthy mental diet include? Psalm 37:3 tells us “feed on His faithfulness” Jeremiah 15:16 says Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart. We can always ask Jesus to give us good mental nutrition. In John 10:9 He promises to lead us to find pasture.
Changing your mind
If a spiritual dietitian analysed what goes into your mind each day, what would the report say? What proportion of your mental food is godly and scriptural? While it is sometimes very hard to control our thoughts, it’s not so hard to control what we are allowing into our minds. Improving our mental diet enriches our thinking, elevates our attitudes, and renews our spirits. Cut out the junk and fill your mind with whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. (Philippians 4:8)
I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
