You are being watched
Deuteronomy 31:8 (NKJV)
8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
A little boy was nervous about catching the bus to school for the first time. For reassurance, his dad waited wit him for the bus to arrive. After his son was safely on the bus, the father quickly got in his car, followed the bus to school, and parked close to where the bus would stop. When his son got off, he saw his father giving him a thumbs up. His father was the last person he saw before boarding the bus and the first person he saw getting off. It was as if the father had been there the whole time.
And in a sense, he had been. Even though the child couldn’t see his father during the trip, he knew his father had made sure he was safe. And its the same way with God. We don’t see Him with us physically, but the witness of the spirit lets us know that we are children a Father whose care never ceases Romans 8:14-17 (NKJV)
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba,[a] Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
You are never alone. the Father is watching over you, at this very moment and wherever you go today.
I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word. When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer. There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
